Why I Started The Level Up Lab

Here’s the deal: I’ve reinvented myself more times than I can count.

I’ve built businesses. Sold them. Burned a few down. Launched brands. Ghostwrote books. Helped thousands of entrepreneurs tell their stories, launch their ideas, and pitch like pros. I was once a best-selling author and columnist for Entrepreneur, American Express Small Business, MSN Business, Fast Company, and more. I had close to 1 million followers on social media.

Then… I got married. I focused on my husband’s career (lesson learned- now divorced, hallelujah…). I got stalked (true story). I stepped back. I thought I was retiring. 

Spoiler alert: I didn’t retire. I reloaded.

Now I’m back—with a mic, a mission, and a little something to prove. (Okay, a lot.)

What Is The Level Up Lab?

The Level Up Lab is my audio playground and reinvention experiment rolled into one. It’s a podcast for the bold, the brave, and the people in the middle of figuring it all out.

Some guests have already made huge moves—they’ve pivoted, scaled, launched, and lived to tell the tale.

Others? They’re still sitting in their home offices, staring down a terrifying inbox or sitting on a world-changing idea they’re too scared to pitch.

And here’s the twist: Every guest has to face The Level Up Dare—a moment on the podcast where we stop talking about bravery and actually do something brave—live.

Think of it like Hot Ones, but instead of hot wings, my guests:
