Grateful to see my work published in the Pacific Coast Business Times.

As we move into 2026, a lot of businesses are using AI the same way they use autopilot, helpful, but not always intentional. Over the past year, I’ve had dozens of conversations with Central Coast founders, operators, and leaders who feel the impact of AI every day but aren’t always sure it’s working for them.

In this article, I talk about why January is the right moment for an AI audit- not a reset, not a teardown, but a thoughtful pause. It’s about asking better questions: Where is AI actually showing up? Is it saving time or creating more work? Does it reflect the way your business wants to show up in the world?

This isn’t a technical how-to, it’s a practical, human look at how businesses in Santa Barbara and San Luis Obispo can use AI with clarity, care, and intention, without losing what makes them distinctive in the first place.

I don’t follow scripts. I help rewrite them.

For nearly three decades, I’ve worked with people and brands at pivotal moments- launches, pivots, reinventions, and second acts. The work blends strategy, story, positioning, and visibility into one integrated engine for growth and relevance.

Sometimes we build a breakout chapter. Sometimes we redesign the whole arc. Either way, the goal is the same: create something truer, stronger, and built to last.
